Obiettivi formativi:
Il corso per nuovi alunni prevede un periodo di osservazione e verifica dello studente in merito alle sue capacità di comprensione di comandi ed istruzioni in lingua per lo svolgimento di compiti relativi alle tre competenze Listening Comprehension, Reading and Writing and Speaking.
Game Box and Role Play: attività di gioco simbolico atte a verificare la buona conoscenza dei vocaboli di base e la competenza nel loro utilizzo per seguenti argomenti:animali, corpo, vestiti, colori, famiglia e amici, cibo, casa, numeri 1-20, luoghi e preposizioni di luogo, sport e tempo libero, giocattoli, mezzi di trasporto, tempo, professioni, il mondo Utilizzo dei verbi nei tempi: presente e present continuous nelle forme: affermativo, interrogativo e negativo.
I verbi: Can per richieste e abilità, Have got. Il verbo like+ing.
Formulare domande di vario genere utilizzando le “WH Question words” e rispondere con le “short answers”. Saper parlare di se stessi in modo articolato e corretto. Valutazione della conoscenza e corretta applicazione delle seguenti regole e strutture grammaticali: Singolari e plurali, regolari ed irregolari, “countable e uncountable nouns” articoli determinativi e indeterminativi. Aggettivi e possessivi, pronomi personali, dimostrativi e possessivi.
There is, there are nelle forme affermativa, interrogativa e negativa.
Terminato il percorso Pre-Movers e confermate le competenze sopra indicate il percorso prosegue alla Academy.

Student: Grammar 2 Pupil’s Book, Dictionary
Class: Momo Box bench, tables, chairs, mat, Blue Readers, Tricky Word Flowers, Alternative Spelling Poster, Pocket Chart, Alphabet Poster, Starters and Movers Flashcards
Composition:
Complete a sentence identifying the missing part of speech (determiners, subject, verb, adjective or adverb)
Compose sentences and WH Questions with extra information on Subject – Verb – Object (use of adjectives and adverbs)
Punctuate sentences using a capital letter , a comma, a full stop, the exclamation mark, question mark and speech marks
Develop writing by writing about real events
Re-read what they have written to check that writing makes sense
Join sentences or clauses using ‘and”, “because”, “but”, “so”, “while”, “or”
Use past, present, present continuous and future tense throughout writing
Define the parts of speech (nouns, pronouns, preposition of place, adj, verbs, determ. adverb)
Use the indirect speech
Use further regular words and exception words from the Starters and Movers Level in your writing
Comprehension:
Answering and asking questions about what has been read and talk about personal experiences related to the book
Predicting what might happen on the basis of what has been read so far.
Read and understand age and ability-appropriate books (level Green)
Develop pleasure in reading, motivation to read, use “Detailed Book Review”
Use of the Dictionary to check the meaning of new vocabulary
Read and Retell longer stories (read works) using First – then – finally
Understand instructions and follow the activities
Understand further regular words and exception words from the Starters and Movers Level
Vocabulary and language learning:
Momo Box: Spontaneous use of new vocabulary in a correct context
Class Time: Use the language to express needs, opinions and to interact with the teacher and the classmates
Circle Time: Use the language to talk about personal experience, about a book or a specific topic
Questions and answers: Practice giving short answer about a picture or yourself and asking questions. Use further regular words and exception words from the Starters and Movers Level in your speaking
Word reading:
Learn additional alternative spelling patterns
Continue to apply phonic knowledge and skills until decode automatically
Learn additional alternative spelling patterns
Read another 30 tricky words using phonics to identify regular part
Read aloud accurately books with fluency and confidence (level Blue)
Decode further regular words and exception words from the Starters and Movers Level
Transcription:
Naming the letters of the alphabet in alternative spelling and for the use of the Dictionary
Spell the new 30 tricky words, including spelling patterns for tricky word families
Write stories dictated by teacher using correctly the “s” for plurals and the “s” for the third person
Use Capital Letters and punctuation
Write further regular words and exception words from the Starters and Movers Level
